FAQs
What will the weather be like?
Ah, the great Irish mystery! The weather in Ireland can be a little unpredictable — we could experience all four seasons in one day. That said, we’re hoping for sunshine and around 20°C. Time to put out the Child of Prague and keep those fingers crossed!
Are kids welcome?
As much as we love your little ones, we’ll be celebrating this one as an adults-only event for the ceremony and reception. However, children are more than welcome at the Friday Pre-Party in the Knightsbrook Hotel. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out — we completely understand the logistics that come with traveling families.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony will take place indoors in a beautiful church.
The drinks reception will be outdoors (weather permitting!), and the dinner and evening celebrations will continue indoors at The Station House.
How can we give you a gift?
Your presence truly means the world to us, and we don’t expect anything more. But if you’re feeling generous, we’d be so grateful for a contribution to our honeymoon fund.
You can send your gift via Revolut or Swish— we’ve set up a dedicated account to help us create more unforgettable memories together.
How do we get there?
The easiest way is to fly into Dublin Airport (DUB), which is about a 30-minute drive from the venue. We’ll be arranging wedding coach transport between the hotel, church, and venue, but free parking will also be available at both the church and The Station House for those who prefer to drive.
Can I give a speech or make a toast?
Absolutely — we’d love that! Please reach out to our legendary Toastmasters, Joel and Victor, at toastdaddies@gmail.com, and they’ll coordinate with you on timing and details.
Can we take photos during the ceremony?
We’d love you to be fully present with us during the ceremony, so please keep phones tucked away until we say “I do.” After that, snap away, we can’t wait to see the day through your eyes!
Will Hank be attending?
Sadly, our favourite corgi won’t be joining us on the big day — though we’re pretty sure he’d steal the show if he could! Hank the Tank will be cheering us on from home (with plenty of snacks, of course), but don’t worry — he’ll still make a few cameo appearances throughout the celebrations.
Where should we stay?
For those wishing to stay close to the celebrations, we’ve arranged a special discount at Knightsbrook Hotel — simply quote “Caslin Andersson Wedding” when booking. We are holding these rooms until the end of March 2026, so please book asap if you would like to stay here.
What should I wear?
Friday – Pre-Party at Knightsbrook Hotel
Summer Cocktail Attire
Kick off the celebrations in style. Think effortless elegance with a touch of sparkle — polished, playful, and ready for golden-hour cocktails.
Inspo:
Men: Tailored trousers or slim chinos with a crisp linen shirt or lightweight blazer. Add loafers or sleek sneakers for a modern finish — no tie required.
Women: Flowy midi or maxi dress, chic jumpsuit, or statement co-ord in bold summer hues or soft pastels.
Saturday – The Wedding
Black Tie Optional (but preferred) — Dress to Impress. Think timeless glamour.
Inspo:
Gentleman: Black tie or a dark suit (navy, charcoal, or black) with a classic tie or bowtie. No light colours, please.
Ladies: Elegant floor-length gown, elevated cocktail dress, or chic tailored jumpsuit. Go for sophisticated silhouettes, rich fabrics, and a hint of glam — but please avoid red, white, ivory, or berry tones to let the bridal party shine.
